At the conferences, delegates can be a part of one of several organizations that make up the UN: the General Assembly, Security Council, International Court of Justice, the Economic and Social Council, the Secretariat (for interns only), and an international press delegation. Delegates also participate in caucuses representing different parts of the world:
Delegates write, debate and vote on resolutions in the General Assembly, and participate in one of the organizations, by hearing memorials (court cases), addressing human rights issues, writing news articles, or settling border and territorial disputes Delegates will be faced with some crisis issues that they will be asked to resolve as well.
